Coronavirus Update: Closure & Course Applications

Coronavirus Update

Berlin, 30th March, 2020

Following the recent announcements by the Berlin Senate and the German government in response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dBs Berlin remains closed for all onsite teaching and bookable facilities from 16th March 2020 until April 20th 2020.

Our current students are receiving a combination of online teaching and support sessions depending on which course they are currently in and we are extending their semester end dates to ensure they are able to complete their course.

We are closely monitoring the situation and planning for a range of eventualities. As new information becomes available we will update our delivery plan as required.

Wherever you may be in the world, we hope you are finding the necessary strength to cope with all the challenges that the current situation is presenting us all with.

Our Application Guarantee

Kick-Start Your Creative Future: 2020 Applications Are Now Open | dBs Berlin

Our team are all still available online as normal and we are processing applications for our summer courses and our longer courses as usual. If you submit your online application before April 30,2020 we can guarantee you a spot on our course because we consider these to be priority applications.

If you’ve already applied and been invited, we are looking forward to welcoming you to dBs Berlin! However, given the current situation we understand that you may have some concerns about committing to a course in a country or city where you are not currently located.

In recognition of the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in we would like to make the following offer to all 2020 course applicants:

If you make an enrolment payment (and a single course fee payment) to guarantee your place on any of our courses and you are unable to attend the course for any reason directly related to the Coronavirus outbreak, we will offer a full refund of your monies.

Alternatively you may also choose to defer your place for one year. If you have paid your enrolment fee and defer your place for one year, the course cost will be fixed at the 2020 prices.
