Have you heard the amazing news? As of the 15th of June, Germany’s travel restrictions and quarantine have been lifted for 26 partner countries in the EU, as well as the UK, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. As per the latest travel restriction information Non-EU citizens are also allowed to enter Germany for study purposes (be sure to check your country’s official guidelines). Is practical filmmaking experience all that stands between the ideas in your head and the big screen? Are you dying to bring your photography to life in a captivating moving picture? Do you yearn to tell inspiring stories as part of a well-oiled creative team?
Our four-week Ignition filmmaking course is designed for budding writers, directors, cinematographers and editors eager to learn the fundamentals of storytelling, photography, pre-production, working with actors, and post-production. You’ll experience various positions on the film crew, and learn a variety of essential techniques, as you collectively take your own short film from script to screen.
“The main thing the participants will learn is how to work in a film team,” says tutor Simon Obleščak. “It’s impossible to learn filmmaking alone. In my experience, one learns best with others; projects that you dream of can come true.”
