Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally; it comes from what you do consistently. If you really want to achieve something, “just do it – and don’t do it half-assed,” says Creative Music Production & Sound Engineering student Emma Nyden. With no prior music production experience, the Swedish musician threw herself right into the dBs Berlin community, saying yes to just about everything.
Fresh from recording our latest Studio Sessions with pop artist and Electronic Music Production & Performance student Rowan Edwards, aka Gozi, we chatted to Emma about how she’s progressed in her first year of study and what exciting projects are coming next.
“I think if you’re very keen and you ask your tutors a lot of questions and collaborate with students, you can grow a lot. I think I’ve grown in every aspect of my artistry.”
