Masters Project ProposalThe purpose of this proposal is to demonstrate that as an MA candidate you will have a viable topic and a plan of approach. It's also an excersice in setting realistic and adequate aims and objectives for the 12 months of full-time study ahead. The proposal not only defines the starting point of your research, it will also form a basis for discussions between you and your supervisor. You need to show that a considerable amount of preliminary thought, listening and reading around the subject has been carried out. The proposal should identify your proposed research questions, set out the research context (including reference to appropriate literature and music etc.) and outline your anticipated research methods. Having established the question, the proposal should then indicate the intellectual, historical and musical contexts in which those questions are to be located and provide an indication of the key theoretical, practical or empirical debates you plan to address. You should include a brief explanation of why the topic is of interest to you. But you should also go beyond your personal interest and explain why your work should be of interest to the wider research community.Research Title*For example, a question or hypothesis which clearly indicates your area of interest.Research outline, aims and objectives:*What is your area(s) of proposed research?
