EMP & CMP Tutor
Kerim Karaoglu is a composer and sound-designer working in the field of electroacoustic music, live-electronics, audio/visual installations and contemporary dance/theatre. He graduated with a degree in electronic composition and computer music from the Institute for Computer Music and Electronic Media at Folkwang University of Arts in 2011.
Since 2010 his main focus has been scoring music and creating sounds for collaborative projects with different video-artists, animation studios and directors. His works and collaborative projects have been presented around the globe at festivals and venues such as Ars Electronica in Linz, BIAN in Montreal, UCLA in Los Angeles and Lange Nacht der Museen in Berlin.
As a tutor for dBs Berlin Music he can be found tutoring on the bachelor degree programme for, unsurprisingly, the courses that focus on music production for visual media.
