Visa & Resident Permits

Where to start…

dBs Berlin is a private college operating in Germany but our BA and MA courses are officially recognised by the German authorities and qualify for the German Study Visa.

If you need a student visa to participate in our course, we suggest you submit your application for the 3-year Bachelors or 1-year Masters course, before the end of February. This will give you enough time to apply with the embassy and receive your visa before September. Our admissions team will be happy to provide you the documentation you need to make your application a success.

If your are considering only studying for 1 year with us and you need a visa, the list of countries below will tell you some possible options:

It's Complicated

dBs Berlin cannot issue/or facilitate the issuing of student visas because we are a private institution. This means that without a passport from any of the nations listed here, it will be very challenging for you to join us on a course. We are sorry to have to deliver this disappointing news but wish you the best of luck with your creative adventures.
